Screw for orthodontic anchorage with immediate loading. The head is designed for optimal anatomical adaptation.
The surgical procedure is easy and can be carried out safely by an orthodontist: The Spider Screw can be placed after preparation of site with a suitable diameter drill provided with stop.
* Extremely versatile, due to its small dimensions and unique design. It is easily placed in maxilla or mandible, even where bone thickness is limited. The self-tapping feature of the Spider Screw makes it easily implantable as an ordinary maxillo-facial Screw.
* Immediate loading is possible because it is designed as a non osteointegrable implant and consequently force can be applied immediately after placement.
* Available in different versions to accommodate a variety of anatomical sites.
* The anatomical head is produced in three versions (Low Profile, Regular, Low Profile Flat) for the Ø 2mm body screw, and in two versions (Short Neck, Long Neck) for the Ø 1.5mm body screw to optimise the bio-compatibility of the site and patient comfort. Its features make it convenient to use with all orthodontic techniques.
* Two slots of .022" x .028", one internal and one external, plus two internal .027" round vertical slots. The head has been anatomically designed for orthodontic procedures, allowing anchorage with springs, wires, elastics etc.
* Manufactured from pure Titanium with a diameter of 2mm in three lengths 7, 9,11mm. The Mini Spider Screw is manufactured with a diameter of 1.5mm in three lengths of 6.5, 8,10mm.
* An anchorage device that can be used during every phase of orthodontic treatment. Suitable for symmetric or asymmetric anchorage, the Spider Screw assists in the success of the orthodontic treatment, both in adults and in adolescents, reducing treatment times without patient co-operation.
* The new Spider Screw Regular for abutment, permits regular applications. Inserted vertically in edentulous areas, it can be used as a support for temporary abutment and, at the same time, provide anchorage.
