The injection moulding technique produces a smooth surface bracket slot, and rounded, smoother ball hooks for increased patient comfort. The tie-wing areas have generous undercuts to accommodate both ties and chain, and ‘figure of eight’ ligating (overcoming a common criticism of many of today’s orthodontic brackets). Also, specific detail to the design and curvature of the cuspid/bicuspid bases has produced a well-contoured base for maximum bracket retention. These are practical design features that make a difference clinically, and collectively ensure that optimum clinical performance can be achieved.
