The important characteristics of mouthguard materials are tensile strength, softness, compression percent and uniform density. The EssixTM laminate maintains these characteristics best because of its heat/pressure laminating process. Tensile strength of the laminate is excellent because of the laminate's two layers of material making up the mouthguard.
