C. In laymans terms, the
archwire is pliable and deforms easily out of the mouth - making
insertion much easier. At mouth temperature it becomes super
elastic providing gentle continuous forces. As Eurotherm arches
have approximately 25% less force than the same cross-sectional
size in super-elastic wires, it is possible to use rectangular wires
much earlier in treatment.
