Activ-8 Braided Arches
The unique Activ-8 preformed archwire consists of 8 strands of very fine wire
braided into a single rectangular-section wire: an archwire that combines
the right-angle edges of a rectangular wire with the resilience of round and
multi-strand wires. Outstanding Clinical Advantages: Thanks to Activ-8’s super
resilience, torque control is possible right from the first treatment. What’s more,
because Activ-8 is probably the only wire you need for simple cases, your
inventory of wires could be substantially reduced. Unlike nickel-titanium wires
Activ-8 can easily be formed without risk of fracturing. It can also be cut without

BTA Beta Titanium Archwires
Euroform BTA arches make ideal finishing wires due to their relative stiffness and resiliency. Beta-Titanium produces forces approximately
40% stronger than nickel titanium, but has only 42% of the stiffness of stainless steel.
Clinical Advantages:
• The stiffness/resiliency inherent in beta titanium, allows you to apply larger sizes earlier in treatment increasing torque control.
• Excellent torque qualities due to their force and flexibility, with the ability to add torque when necessary.
• Contain no nickel, which can cause a reaction or irritation in some patients.
• The ductility/formability of BTA arches allows formation of loops/bends with ease
and ensures that fracturing does not occur.
• Pain Reduction: because of the lighter forces applied by BTA Wires, in comparison
with the forces found in stainless steel, these archwires are excellent for patients
with a low tolerance.
