The IPRTM Tips allow interproximal reduction safely and with optimal control:
The tip thickness (0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4 or 0.5 mm) sets the prescribed amount of reduction.
Like all Profin tips, they do not harm soft (gingival) tissue.
The IPR tips have a grit of 50 microns except the 0.2 mm
tips (40 microns) and the 0.1 mm tips (15 microns),
which can also be used for polishing.
Colour coding corresponds to the thickness.
Kit includes 5 tips and a handpiece.
The Dentatus IPR handpiece is a great bit of kit that makes IPR simple and stress free. The dedicated handpiece provides good control whilst removing tooth tissue and the graded colour coded tips are easy to work through. I find that the calibrated tips allow accurate IPR to be undertaken to the desired prescription without needing to check repeatedly with a gauge.
